Alan 'Cobra' Jenkins, an original member in every sense, is the reason that roadies refuse to work with the band. His vast array of monitors, pedals and other paraphernalia, aside from being a major cause of global warming, require a stage of their own. A sensitive man, in love with his instruments, caring for them with loving caresses at the end of every gig. If a guitar could wear a shell suit, then both it and Al would have matching ones. This incredibly talented, multi instrumentalist also has the unique ability to tap his foot totally out of time to the music that is being played. A debutante man about town (Charlbury), he also has the reputation as being the inventor of designer stubble.Alan's playing really sparkles. He produces some excellent melodies, and his crisp chords drive the rhythm along. When given the challenge to produce a new and inventive sound, Alan ponders for a few minutes and then comes out with the statement 'Will this do?' How can he make something that difficult look that easy?
